This used to be the time of year I enjoyed for the main fact it put everything back into a routine after the wherewithal of summertime (not to mention the "happiest time of the year" for stationary junkies like me LOL). But, like everything else in 2020, it's been a big change instead.
Maybe that is what this year is meant to be all about...learning. Let's face it, there has been a lot to learn already pandemically, socially, historically, etc.
What if, whether you have school-age children or not, we open ourselves up to let the world be our schoolroom for the rest of the year. Since we are mostly on-line learning anyway, why not take this time to actually CHOOSE what you want to learn. So much has been forced on us in the last seven months, what would happen if YOU decided what you want to learn. Sort of like high school when you get to choose a couple classes a year that you want to take rather than it being specifically dictated to you.
Why not make the rest of 2020 all about learning something new, something you have always wanted to do, or something that will take your hobby or business or spiritual journey to a whole new level. Maybe something outside your comfort zone or something you've always wanted to do but never thought you could--because look at it this way, how much have you learned in the last months that have been out of your comfort zone and you did it, you learned, you adapted, and you came through it! YOU did it.
So, go for it--learn a new language, a new craft, a new dance, a new computer program, or different cooking style. Nothing is too ridiculous, crazy, or hard after the year we've had. You've proven you can deal with things thrown at you totally out of left field...how much better do you think you could do if it was something you actually wanted to learn?
Let me know what you choose! :)
Peace, joy, and creativity,
